Wedding
Ceremony
of
Judge
William J. Corbett
On this the
most important day of their lives, Anja and Gregor have asked
that their gratitudebe
expressed to all those who are here today, their families and friends, for
being with them and sharing their happiness. They have asked you to be here
to witness this celebration because each of you have given of yourselves
into their lives. Your friendship, guidance, support, encouragement
and love will forever be appreciated and will continue to be an important
part of their lives as they leave here as a married couple. They have asked
me to welcome you here and thank you for sharing this important time with
them.
So dearly
beloved and friends, we are gathered here in the presence of this
company to join this woman, Anja, and this man, Gregor, in the
bonds of matrimony, which is an honorable estate and is not to be
entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently, and discreetly.
This union
then is most serious, because it will join you together for life in a
relationship so close and so intimate, that it will profoundly influence
your whole future, with its hopes and dreams for the years to come. And so,
not knowing what lies before you, you take each other for better or for
worse, for richer, or for poorer, in sickness and in health, for the rest of
your lives.
Marriage
and family are the basis of our society. A strong marriage is based on
faith, hope, trust and love.
On this
wonderful occasion we are reminded of the meaning and importance of love.
To Love is
to share life together
to build special plans just for two.
To work
side by side
and then smile with pride
As one by
one, your dreams all come true.
To Love is
to help and encourage
with smiles and sincere words of praise.
To take
time to share
To listen and to care
In tender,
affectionateways.
To Love is
to have someone special
One on whom you can always depend.
To be there
through the years
Sharing laughter and tears
As a
partner, a lover, a friend.
To Love is
to make special memories
Of moments you love to recall,
Of all the
good things
That sharing life brings
Love is the
greatest of all.
(MAID

unending and everlasting love and are visible symbols which represent the
